Machon and Madrachim

The Machon is a program for 8th -12th graders.  Students join together each Sunday morning at the Shul.  Through the use of multi-media and discussion students explore contemporary subjects and themes from a Jewish perspective.

Our high school students have the opportunity to serve as Madrichim (student teachers). By attending a class specifically designed for them, Madrichim learn to:

  • Provide hands-on classroom assistance
  • Gain valuable classroom management skills
  • Provide one-on-one tutoring
  • Gain confidence and ease in front of a group
  • Continue their Jewish education
  • Serve as role models for younger students
